We specialize in build highly reliable, low power, hazardous locations certified controls that run in the Canadian climate for the oil and gas industry. ETC is looking for an individual with strong work ethic, a positive personality, and a desire to grow with our company to join our Hardware Engineering Team. The successful candidate will work alongside other Hardware Engineers to design, develop, and test new embedded designs and will work co-operatively with Software Engineers to deliver a complete solution. As we move forward together and the company grows, there may be an opportunity to move more into a management role.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- 8+ years of Analog/Digital Hardware Design Experience
- CSA Hazardous Locations Certifications
- Experience in Low Power and Low Temperature Design
- Strong Communication Skills
- Positive Personality
- Strong Leadership Skills
- Registered with APEGGA as a P. Eng.
Experience in the following tools is desired:
- AutoCAD/Solid Works
- Altium
- Perforce
- MSP 430 Processors
- Rowley Crossworks
- Microsoft Office
