The ETC team is easy going group with a sense of humour.  A good team always works together to solve problems, so you'll find small groups gathered around white boards throughout the office, troubleshooting problems in the lab, or trying to skunk each other at a game of crib over lunch.

Desired Skill Sets

There are many different facets to product development including mechanical design, electronics, electrical, embedded firmware, application software, packaging, procurement, marketing, etc... To meet these challenges, we are always looking for individuals with a wide variety of experience and a willingness to learn and apply new skills.  There is no hard division between our functional groups, so you will often see hardware developers sitting next to software developers, a hardware guy writing a firmware driver, or a software guy soldering a fly wire on a circuit board.  Everyone is expected to pitch in and help the organization be a success.

At ETC, we believe that you need the right tools for the job.  This is why we provide up to date computer systems, multiple monitors, functional work spaces, and comfortable chairs.  Developers are equipped with up to date test equipment, appropriate software packages, and access to all the other tools needed to do the job right.
